Concerts
Yesterday it was live music everywhere you walked in Oslo. If you couldnt here it then you probarbly was deaf or not there. This is what I saw and where. Or at least what I think I saw.

Birkelunden: Shaun Bartlett
Olafs Ryes plass: Tuva Sofia Andersen. Singer/songwriter with a synth and good voice. A little bit boring IMHO

Arbeidersamfunnets plass:
Maramitsa: Classic rock and surprisingly good.
The lost souls of Oslo: I liked this and I doesn’t even like soul.3 guys and a girl playing simple songs just with a guitar and 4 lovely voices. Very funky and lots of energy

Universitetsgata:
Schæfer: Great goth band playing though music. I really enjoyed this. Suprise of the day.
Aggregate: Ok synth band. Soft synth. A little bit like Sweep and IMHO little bit to boring.

Pilestredet: Seven(I think). Just okey. I was more interersted watching all those different types of personalities at this stage.

Kontræskjæret:
Abstract + g-ha: Managed to get the last 20 minutes of the. Very good as usual
Anonyme Melankonikere: They sounded good but just not for me. And I just wanted them to finish so I could see the highlight of the day.
Bugge Wesseltoft: What can I say. This guy always amaze me with his beats and how professional he is. It look like they had technical problems before the concerts not getting all the sound they need, but they just ignored this and still performed. A nice suprise was that he had GenLon with him. Cannot wait for their CD who is soon released on Jazzland rec.

Also so bits and pieces of a lot of other bands, but on stages with totally different music taste than me. Read pop or no inuitive rock

Conclusion: The rain ruined this day. There was just to few people out there watching the concerts and the few who did just couldnt take this to the heights that this days actually deserve. But they tried very much. I hope they gonna redo this next year and that the sun also gonna show up next time

Tomorrow is “Musikkens dag”. A day dedicated to music. Oslo will be buzzing with hundreds free concerts everywhere. Most of them are unknown, but still can mention well known artists(or maybe not) as :

Sunday it is P3 sessions in Oslo with Animal Alpha, Magnet & Big Band. I would recommend the 2 first ones, but Big Band is just not my cup of tea. After all it is free 😀

I just cannot understand those who constantly send me email and sms with jokes. Especially those who I don’t even know or talk to. Take this example. One person I briefly worked with sends emails and text me sending silly no funny jokes. I told her/him to quit, but it just doesn’t help. Its annoying being waken up in the morning with a text and the text is from this person. I want to say to this person and anyone else with this nasty habit.
