Seigmen@rockefeller 18/2 – A story about seeing old heroes

I remember the first time I heard Seigmen. They had just released a cover version of DeLillos classic song “Hjernen er alene”. A version who was much better than the original. I had just turned 18 and there was something with this music that just appealed to my depressive teenage image. Just 2 weeks later I went to Oslo to see them live at Sentrum stage(IMHO the best rock stage ever in Oslo). This concert was in every way perfect for me. Just turned 18 and out in Oslo drinking for the first time. Still remember when the groundbreaking visuals on their opening track, that I went mental on Mesusah and how amazing it was to see Lars Lillo Stenberg coming on and singing on his song.

So how would it be to see them again almost 12 years later? 7 year since they last played live as Seigmen. Well I must say the same as I said as a drunk 18 year old kid. It was fucking perfect. The visuals on the opening act is still as good as I remembered it. Mesusah is still so hard as I remember it and must be one of the most perfect live songs I ever heard. Hjernen er alene is still better than deLillos version. The only differences was that they played songs from Metropolis, which is an album I do not like, but they even performed them very well.
